Privacy Policy

Aevum (“the App”) is designed as a local-first intelligence system developed by Boaz Thomas (“the Developer”). This policy explains the current privacy posture of the public release baseline.

1. Local-First Processing

Aevum is designed so that personal thinking, captures, and memory-graph reasoning are processed on-device. The app experience is intended to keep your private thinking local to your device rather than sending it to the internet for reasoning.

2. Model Delivery

To enable local execution, model artifacts may be securely downloaded to your device. This download path is part of product delivery and does not change the intended local processing posture for your personal captures and reasoning flow.

3. Data Retention and User Control

Your local graph and interaction history reside in the application data layer on your device. You may clear local app data or delete the application to remove locally stored interaction history from that device.

4. Permissions and Sensors

Aevum may request device permissions such as microphone, speech recognition, camera, photos, biometrics, or calendar access depending on the features you use. These permissions should be understood as feature-dependent and governed by your device settings.

5. Diagnostics and Telemetry

The Developer does not intend to use hidden behavioral telemetry for the core reasoning flow. Limited diagnostics may be available through Apple-controlled crash and platform reporting mechanisms where enabled by the platform and the user.
